Armor

Grandma Julie bought Hayden a boy dressed in armor.... spiritual armor. She sat with Hayden and told him that this is how she saw him. The Sword of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, etc. He was enthralled. He looks at this statue everyday and reminds himself of his goal. His goal to each morning put on the entire armor of God. He works at preparing himself mentally for the challenges and events of the day. He works hard to be the strong boy that stands up for truth and righteousness. He tries so hard. I love that Julie bought this for him and the visual reminder that it gives him to prepare to stand up for the truth and righteousness, just as the soldiers defend our country.
