10 Years Old

My baby is 10 years old! Unbelievable!!!! I can't believe that he has been mine for 10 years. I can't get over how fast the time is going by. Hayden has grown up so much this year. A lot has been out of necessity but he has found joy in his new responsibilities and has loved how grown up he has felt.

This year Hayden has become much more out-going. He is social and loves to be with friends. He loves school and is working hard to succeed. He tries really hard. He has learned to ride horses, become quite the incredible artist and has really developed his reading skills. He loves that he has been a helper in taking care of his mom and considers me his sole responsibility when his dad is away or at work. On his own, he learned to sort and do the laundry, load and unload the dishwasher, clean bathrooms and picks up without being asked. He is such a joy. He is usually in a good mood and is pleasant to be around. He believes that life is happy and he continually finds the joy and good in any situation.
This was the year of legos. We have all kinds of lego sets at our house and he is fantastic at building them.
Hayden's best bud is his dad. He lives for the moment that his dad comes home from work and is always standing and waiting with a story or toy to talk to Thomas about. I love how much he idolizes his dad and wants to be just like him.
Hayden is a happy kid. He is very appreciative and is grateful for whatever is given to him. I sure love his smile and will do anything for a full grin on that cute face!
I love that he has learned to look at the camera, smile and get it over with. Too cute!
It felt like he had one birthday celebration after the next. Each day someone else showed up with presents for him. We seriously decided that there was no need for Christmas, as he had received a ton just two weeks before.
Grandma Joyce and Hayden. He sure has gotten close to his grandparents this year. He is a lucky boy to be loved by so many people.
Suzi gave Hayden a huge double sword and he obviously LOVED it and requested that his dad get one for Christmas
Happy Birthday, Bubba! I am lucky to be your mom!
