Christmas cookies

The best part about baking Christmas cookies is rolling out the dough, cutting out the cookies and frosting and decorating them. I went with store bought cookie dough and the kids had a blast. Jake's girls came over to join in the fun.
Hayden loved creating his own cookies, not using the cookie cutters. He came up with some silly creations but was a happy kid.
Once I had a batch rolled out, the kids would try their hardest to get as many cookie cutters down as fast as possible!
Kiley was teasing me and kept trying to eat the cookie dough.
They all had fun and worked well together laughing and playing.
Hayden and Kaylee made the crazy, goofy and usually gross combinations of cookies and icing.
Kiley and Katelyn made their cookies cute and pretty.
Me and Hayden had fun laughing at his creations. He had poor Santa falling off the roof. Got to love boys, and Kaylee for that matter. I loved every minute of the giggling, laughing and talking that could be heard throughout the kitchen.
I decided that premade cookie dough works great, premade frosting dyed colors is perfect and best of all using all plastic utensils with a plastic tablecloth works great for easy clean up. It was a great Sunday evening with Hayden and my nieces.
